The Improv Place is a nonprofit theater in Seattle, and we’re the proud home of Seattle Black Improv. We bring people together in person through workshops, shows, and free community events, with a mission to elevate diverse artists and give performers of every skill level a stage to grow on.

We believe improv is a way to find yourself through play, creativity, and a whole lot of laughter. Your background, your experiences, and your skills are welcome here, and we celebrate them. Whether you’ve been performing for years or you’ve never stepped on a stage, there’s a place for you in our community.
